I'll be running a pair of two-day Managing and Growing Your Intranet masterclasses in New Zealand in May. These have a huge amount of information packed in, and they'll be further tuned with the latest thinking between now and May.

Managing and Growing Your Intranet will provide a unique set of practical methodologies for planning and growing intranets, along with an invaluable opportunity to network with intranet managers from other organisations. The course will cover a wide range of issues confronting all organisations while identifying practical techniques for delivering an effective intranet.

Managing and Growing Your Intranet will be highly interactive in format and will involve a range of discussions, group work and activities. These will give you an opportunity to focus your thinking and to explore new approaches.

Over the two days, many key intranet topics will be discussed, including how to strategically plan your intranet, how to structure your intranet and what activities are required to keep it effective in the long term. This includes the ‘6x2 methodology’ for intranet planning, developed by Step Two Designs.

Despite NZ being so close (comparatively!) to Australia, I don't seem to get across the ditch very often. So this will be the only time I'll be running these workshops in NZ this year...
