Intranet strategy workshop at the IA Summit

I'm going to be running a whole-day workshop on Intranets as a business tool at the upcoming IA Summit in Las Vegas. This workshop is primarily targeted at experienced intranet teams, but will also be relevant to new-starters.

Topics covered on the day:

  • Evolution of intranets
  • Practical 'needs analysis' techniques
  • Creating an intranet 'sales pitch'
  • 6x2 methodology for planning intranets
  • Role of the intranet team
  • Role of collaboration tools and portals

This is a day of unique models and methodologies, including a model on the evolution of intranets, a very new approach to intranet management, and an answer to the question: where does collaboration fit in?

I've been running these workshops throughout the globe, and they're always extremely worthwhile for all involved (including me).

PS. I'm also running a half-day workshop on Improving the Design of Search.
