KM Column: Metrics for knowledge management & content management

some extra metrics:
* size of articles, number of links per article (getting more complex or trending to simpler articles?)
* number of corrections to published articles (oops)
* time based metrics...
** number of new articles per period (infer rate of growth etc)
** age of articles
** average time since last review of article (avoiding ROT)
** turnaround time for special workflow activities (eg. legal oversight, translations, etc)
