Smulders Projects Poland : Engaging the frontline with a mobile app
Smulders Projects Poland, a small manufacturing company spread over three production sites, has launched a mobile app called “SPP Halo” to improve communication across its mainly frontline workforce. The app and its content have been developed with significant input from production staff, including through “Tone of Voice” workshops. The app provides a foundation for internal communications, as well as access to core business information covering areas such as operations, health and safety, strategy and benefits.
Other features include notifications, digital forms, event registration, a bulletin board, job postings, the ability to submit ideas, surveys, and quizzes. So far, SPP Halo has received good levels of adoption across production staff and has been well received, with a very high eNPSscore. It has also seen tangible improvement in staff participation across a number of internal processes.
