About my talk

Australia’s National Broadband Network (nbn) provides a digital workplace case study. Learn how nbn established a framework that brought together a diverse range of cross-functional areas and created a digital workplace within the organisation.

Daisy will take you through a ‘hard-working’ digital workplace tasked with supporting organisational growth. This digital ecosystem enables a broad range of staff, from full time employees to contractors, to do great work, in a flexible and transparent manner, and at the same time engages them with the organisation and with each other in new and dynamic ways.

This session will cover:

• the significance of taking a holistic oversight of the initiative and connecting technology, culture and physical space elements
• the importance of taking a ‘test and learn’ approach and establishing and managing initiatives using the correct measures
• maximising benefits from continuous improvement to transformational change.

About me

Daisy is a senior digital professional with experience across internal and external communications gained in leading corporates and at a national and an international level for organisations such as IAG, ANZ Bank and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Daisy has led numerous professional teams to success, delivering sophisticated communication services. As a member of the Workplace Transformation Team, Daisy is responsible for developing nbn’s integrated workplace strategy and ultimately transforming the employee experience. Daisy has carved a career around analysing and driving the impact of internet technologies on business relationships.
