About my talk

In September 2014, Raine & Horne transitioned from a poorly used, organically grown intranet site to a dynamic, mobile-responsive site known as Scout. While the transition has had its challenges, the new site has now put Raine & Horne on the path to internal comms success.

This session will include numerous examples of the issues faced and the benefits that can be achieved in an enterprise community, including:

  • challenges and opportunities of new technology
  • delivering on-message content
  • communicating with a large distributed workforce
  • improving training and compliance
  • engaging new business prospects.

About me

As Raine & Horne’s National Communications Manager, covering PR and internal communications, Andrew works closely with Executive Chairman Angus Raine and staff across the Raine & Horne network to achieve their communications goals. With a focus on quality, accuracy and readability, Andrew’s role is to improve corporate communications and ensure the delivery of engaging and on-message content. With experience in large government organisations and as a freelance writer, Andrew aims to make the process of communicating to both internal and external audiences as effective as it can be.
