Scope have just been through an intensive period of integration and consolidation – uniting Scope, Disability Services Australia (DSA) and Home@Scope as one cohesive organisation.

In August 2022, the business requested all internal and external digital content to be consolidated, including the three separate legacy intranets. Each intranet had its own user experience (a mixture of SharePoint Modern and SharePoint Classic), authentication model, authoring and user governance. On top of that, one of the intranets resided in a separate tenant.

The mandated go-live date of July 2023 gave the team less than twelve months to plan, procure, build, and launch an entirely new intranet with improved functionality that met the needs of the growing organisation.

Profile

Victorin is the Digital Workplace Specialist at Scope, one of the largest disability services providers in Australia. After completing a Bachelor of Computer Science, she spent 4 years researching and developing software for embedded systems (fun fact: she used to work on optimising software for camera phones). The next step in her career brought her to the digital workplace space where her experience spans several years across the health care, not for profit and finance industries. She’s passionate about harnessing technology to make lives easier.

Victorin trained in classical ballet for almost 10 years as a child and has recently made the return to ballet as an adult. She dreams of choreographing a short classical piece one day.
