Ogletree Deakins: Taking a law firm intranet to the next level
US employment law firm Ogletree Deakins has transformed its intranet, ODConnect, moving over to SharePoint Online. The project involves several notable features including a new enterprise search integration, an upgraded custom chatbot called KARLOS, a new information architecture, a revamped knowledge sharing area for model documents and a new way to add personal quick links.
The new intranet also has extensive integrations with internal systems as well as website content, leading to improved people profiles, client and matter pages and even financial dashboards based on PowerBI. The firm has also leveraged an expertise finding tool to enable a powerful custom expert search. The new intranet has high levels of adoption and has saved time and driven efficiencies in multiple ways.
