Alliander: Supporting DEX via intranet improvement and personalisation
Alliander, a Dutch government organisation that runs energy networks in the Netherlands, has a high-performing intranet with strong levels of sustained adoption, based on years of continuous improvement. This has been achieved through an ongoing commitment to user research and analytics, high levels of employee input and involvement, and a mature release and roadmap process. The intranet supports communications, task completion and employee self-service.
In order to develop a brand new Personalised Intranet Hub, the team undertook extensive research to model five new digital employee experience (DEX) personas, including covering frontline staff. A four-layer experience model defines the view on the homepage for each persona, supporting DEX. Other highlights include improvements to search and a number of new key features.
