Fragomen: Transforming a specialist knowledge library with search
Immigration specialist law firm Fragomen maintains a large, internal knowledge resource with details of immigration rules and processes across different countries. In moving the intranet to modern SharePoint Online, the firm’s content curation team has revamped the “Immigration Knowledge Library” (IKL), turning an underperforming area to one which better meets user needs and is easier to manage.
After receiving training in PnP Search, the team have restructured the IKL without help from IT colleagues, saving development costs. They have also created new search capabilities including the ability to compare rules in different jurisdictions. Changes can be made without IT help, reducing painful wait times. The changes have improved client delivery while the new skills in PnP search
