Our Platinum Award gave our program and what my students designed and built immediate credibility.  Because the award is an international industry award and not one geared to K-12 education it was looked upon with more importance.  It validated our program, the student’s work and my theories as to what effective education should look like.

Additionally, students who have graduated were able to cite the award in their resumes and have found employment as web developers and designers at the universities they are attending.  All in all it has been an amazingly rewarding experience for all involved.
