DEX 2019 (the digital employee experience conference) is coming to Sydney on 18-20 September 2019. It inherits a decade of great conferences run by Step Two, and it hits the mark for teams and practitioners who want to deliver great experiences for staff.
The conference has a mindfully curated schedule of presentations — free of vendor pitches — that bring together pragmatic knowledge and leading-edge inspiration. It’s the must-do event for intranet and digital workplace teams, as well as comms, HR and IT folk.
Ask around — you’ll hear from past participants that this is one of the best conferences they’ve ever attended, not just in Australia but globally. In addition to positioning teams for greater success, we also foster career-long connections as part of a vibrant community.
We’re therefore excited to announce that DEX 2019 is now open for registrations!

At Step Two, we know this space, and what teams need. An international call for speakers uncovered wonderful talent from around the globe. We also actively sought out practitioners that we know have a great story, about what they’ve delivered or the journey they’re on.
In total, there will be 24 extraordinary speakers at the conference, and we’ve posted an initial speaker line-up. Here are just two of these presenters to whet your appetite:

Practical, relevant workshops
In addition to the main program, we are offering three superb deep-dive workshops. These offer comprehensive explorations of key topics, to complement what’s covered in the two previous days of talks.
This year we feature:
- Rebecca Rodgers running a full-day workshop on taking a business-first approach to Office 365, providing a practical methodology for gaining sustainable adoption.
- Josh Patel running a half-day workshop on designing an intranet homepage that’s fit for the modern age.
- James Robertson running a half-day workshop that explores how to create a compelling business case, for intranets, digital workplaces or DEX.
