[Upcoming Seminars]

There are many stakeholders from across the organisation who are involved in the design or management of the intranet.

The first challenge confronting many intranet projects therefore becomes to create a common vision for the intranet, to align the many stakeholders, and to define the role that each stakeholder will play.

This one-day in-house workshop is designed to intensively explore the role and purpose of the intranet, with the goal of creating the start of a concrete shared vision and direction for the site.

By the end of the day, key issues will have surfaced, and a new enthusiasm generated for the creation (or redevelopment) of an effective intranet.

The day will be extensively tailored, based on your current intranet plans, but common topics to be covered include:

  • identifying current organisational issues and roadblocks
  • discussing best-practice approaches to intranet development
  • identifying staff groups that will be using the intranet
  • determining key information needs of each staff group
  • discussing intranet goals and directions
  • outlining intranet ownership and the roles of key stakeholder groups
  • identifying key actions and "killer apps"
  • determining next steps

A complimentary copy of the Intranet Roadmap will be provided, and the day will be strongly based upon this methodology.
