Visiting the US, opportunities to speak?

I’m now half way through my current European trip, and it’s back-to-back workshops and conferences. I really enjoy these international trips, as they give me a chance to reach a wider audience, and to find out what’s happening in the world. I’ve now presented in over a dozen countries, often as a keynote speaker at conferences.

I’m therefore looking forward to speaking at this year’s KMWorld in San Jose (November 17-19), as well as presenting trophies to the local North American winners of this year’s Intranet Innovation Awards.

It’s a long way to come for a few days of conference, so I’m planning to do some extra activities as part of the same trip. This may include:

  • public one-day workshops, on intranet strategy, intranet design, or collaboration
  • presentations at industry or community groups, such as breakfast or evening talks
  • in-house workshops or consulting, targeting key needs or supporting project activities

I’m talking to a few folks at present, but I thought I’d put out a general offer to speak at these types of sessions. At this point, these dates are likely to be free:

  • Friday November 13
  • Monday November 16
  • Friday November 20
  • Monday November 23

While I’ll be on the West Coast for the conference, I can travel elsewhere if there’s a good reason to do so. Drop me a line if you’re interested.
