The Global Intranet Strategies Survey closes in 10 days
Categorised under: Intranets
A quick note to highlight that Jane McConnell’s Global Intranet Strategies Survey closes in just 10 days. This is what Jane has seen so far:
I’ve already looked at some early results from this year’s survey. Some preliminary observations:
- It looks like the intranet is definitely moving towards becoming the front door to what people need to do their jobs.
- It also appears that tele-working has not yet taken off.
- Intranets are not yet optimised for for mobile access.
- Home pages are primarily news-based. The workplace model is rare.
I can’t encourage organisations to participate in this survey too strongly. Not only will you help the intranet community as a whole, but you’ll also get a free copy of the “Global Intranet Trends for 2010″ report (in pdf format). The report contains charts and analysis of the consolidated data from over 200 participating organizations.
Don’t leave it too late to participate this year!
