<blockquote><p>Users don&rsquo;t care about the hierarchy of the site. The thousands of users we&rsquo;ve observed for the last 12+ years clearly tell us that users don&rsquo;t care how the site is constructed. Users only care how to get from they page they are current at to the page containing the content they seek. Even with repeated use, they&rsquo;d prefer that each site visit just have clear scent. Memorizing the nooks and crannies of an information architecture is not their desired outcome.</p></blockquote>
