If doing these enterprise 2.0 activities is part of people&#039;s job descriptions, they definitely assess them as part of their performance reviews.

If they&#039;re not part of formal job roles, then what right do we have to measure/report their &quot;performance&quot; on these non-core parts of their job?</description>

It&#039;s well known that metrics results in gaming behaviour, but I&#039;m sure Andfrew is aware of that.  And I&#039;m not sure what is truly being &quot;measured&quot; anyway.... I&#039;ll read Andrew&#039;s post and think about it.</description>
