Scottrade: Competitor Wiki

This year we held the awards ceremony for the Intranet Innovation Awards at the KMWorld & Intranets conference in San Jose. That gave me an opportunity to hand over more of the trophies in person, which is always great.

It also allowed me to interview Tracie Gildehaus, from Scottrade, one of the Gold winners this year. She talked about their Competitor Wiki, which gives them a very effective way of capturing competitor information as well as feeding back insight from customers.

This 5 minute video covers:

  • What was the business problem?
  • How does the wiki work?
  • How was it started?
  • What have been the benefits?

    Fantastic. Best way you have presented the infromation about winning submissions yet. Amazing how much more engaging a short video is when compared to a slide pack.
