On Monday I was interviewed by Phil Dobbie of BTalk Australia. The podcast on out of the box content management has now been published. To quote:

(15min 54) There are a huge amount of content management systems (CMS) available, from free open source platforms through to advanced commercial solutions. That means you should be able to find an out-of-the-box solution that does exactly what you want.

So how do you determine those exact requirements? Today on BTalk Australia Phil Dobbie talks to James Robertson from Step Two Designs about how to select the right CMS for your business.

I’ve just had the chance to listen to this pod cast while driving.

Thanks for taking the time to do the interview james – having this information available in a format that I can use where and when it is appropriate for me is great.

The content of the content management interview is great too – keep selection simple and real (actual examples) by working out what you need prior to letting the sales people in the door ;-)

Oh God I wish some people I know had read this. Customising is painful. Customising more than you keep OOTB, is bordering on suicide!
