Building upon the ubiquitous access I see a hugely important next phase as enterprise search &amp; information integration. 

What I really mean is, enterprise search that brings together structured and un-structured data. Newer enterprise search offerings sit on top of existing varied applications &amp; data stores and bring information together into one view. They provide real time updates and information on trending topics. 

Imagine you need updated info about a specific client for an upcoming meeting so you do a search and see all recent discussions about the client from Yammer, email &amp; discussion forums, recent changes or updates to the client&#039;s account information in the CRM, news items about the client that may have been posted, etc. You see who&#039;s responsible for all the new bytes of data so you can follow up for more info.  

I think that ubiquitous access will go hand-in-hand with &quot;search,&quot; which really means integrated information views with usable data presentation. And both need to be built upon social software that links all information to the people who provide it.</description>
