Mark Morrell has written about five approaches to have good intranet publishers. To quote:

BT has just relaunched its support site to help all our intranet publishers new and existing ones. It breaks down into 5 simple ways which my slides show examples of.

All good stuff! I like to see a strong authoring community on this list, but that is probably difficult in an organisation the size of BT.

    Thanks for the plug for my blog. :-)

    We do have a reasonably strong authoring community within BT. It has changed over the years as it has expnaded and less-technical in its make up.

    I’ll blog about it later this month and see what you think we can do to improve it further.
