Andrew Wright has shared an interesting intranet case study from AGL. To quote:

This article describes how AGL used SharePoint 2007 to build a task based intranet. AGL is Australia’s largest gas and electricity retailer, with over 3.2 million customer accounts and approximately 2,200 employees. It has recently invested in renewable energy businesses such as wind farms and a hydroelectric power station.

(I really like the “I would like to” approach, and I haven’t seen anything quite like this before.)
