A sponsor-free conference: they said it couldn’t be done

Last year, we tongue-in-cheek launched a national no vendor sponsors day, highlighting our policy of having no sponsors for Intranets2012.

Many people came forward to tell us that it couldn’t be done: a profitable conference required significant money from event sponsors. We went ahead anyway.

The results in 2011 spoke for themselves: attendees had a ball, there was a palpable buzz in the air, and we made a modest profit.

As a result: there are still no sponsors at Intranets2012, making it all about attendees.

We are passionate about intranets, and are focused on creating a truly great conference. We love being able to focus entirely on creating a stand-out experience for attendees, without having to juggle the interests of vendors and other sponsors. This makes Intranets2012 pretty unusual, not just in Australia but internationally.

The conference is rushing up (Sydney, May 16-18), so browse our great programme and register now.
