Alex Manchester, Senior Consultant
Overview
Alex joined the Step Two Designs team from corporate communications research and training organization, Melcrum. He brings strong experience on the topics of intranets and KM, with specialist knowledge in the field of social computing.
Alex has advised and briefed organisations including IAG and RBS, industry organisations including the IABC and PRiNZ, and recent workshop attendees have included representatives from BHP Billiton, AMP, Vodafone, Telstra, Waikato Management School and more.
Alex’s areas of knowledge include:
- internal communication roles and responsibilities with regards to intranets
- specialist knowledge of social media/ enterprise 2.0 within large organizations
- best practice in ethics, moderation, and examples of online media within businesses
Alex has strong analytical, research and interview skills developed from benchmark-setting research programs. He brings a pragmatic approach to intranet projects, combining enthusiasm and creative ideas with an ability to quickly understand business requirements and determine possible solutions.
